The Idea Behind Little Bee

Parents in the New York area are rejoicing over the establishment of universal pre-K in public school systems. Free education programs mean parents of 4 year old children no longer have to shell out tuitions similar to college for a private pre-K program. However, early childhood experts are asking, "what about children younger than four years old?" From birth to three years are the most formative for a child's development, which is why we feel children who are too young for pre-K programs deserve a place to come and learn through play. The idea for Little Bee Learning Studio was created to provide infants and toddlers a space where they can learn and development can be fostered. Structured classes allow children to engage in new experiences with the help of adults. Unstructured extended play time gives children the chance to explore independently and follow their own interests. Learning should always be fun and exciting for children. Little Bee will provide thoughtfully chosen toys that are designed to enhance a child's development while also being fun! An important part of the idea behind Little Bee is to provide a community space for caregivers to unwind and socialize with other like-minded individuals. Whether you need advice on temper tantrums and toileting or just a place to clear your head we are here for you. Caring for infants and toddlers is no easy feat and we don't want you to do it alone!
